Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc in Dublin is seeking an Assistant Financial Controller to oversee the hotel’s finance function, reporting to the Financial Controller and General Manager. You'll collaborate across departments to drive financial performance.

The role emphasizes controls, month-end processes, and mentoring non-financial managers; Dalata Academy training is available to support your growth in hospitality finance.

Qualifications

• Ambitious, confident and professional with strong communication and analytical skills.
• Experience in hospitality or retail accounting preferred.
• Qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Strong internal control awareness and knowledge of accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Review costs and drive savings across departments.
• Collaborate with hotel departments to understand KPIs and margins.
• Lead month-end process and ensure accuracy of reports.
• Support training for non-financial managers within the hotel.
• Engage with Shared Service Centre and manage debt collection.
