Job summary

Applitrack seeks an Assistant Director of Community Education to provide executive leadership and oversee Community Education divisions including Early Childhood & Family Education, School Readiness, and School-Age Child Care. The role involves strategic planning, budget management, and staff supervision to align with lifelong learning goals.

The successful candidate will lead program development across all ages, collaborate with district leadership, and represent the department in partnerships

Qualifications

• Leadership & strategy: executive leadership, strategic planning, staff transition support.
• Communication & collaboration: strong written/oral skills, cross-stakeholder engagement.
• Programmatic expertise: knowledge across birth to adult community education domains.
• Instructional leadership: MTSS, PLCs, curriculum and assessment familiarity.
• Fiscal acumen: budget development, forecasting, and grant management.
• Regulatory & legal compliance: MARSS, Frontline, Skyward, MDE reporting.
• Technical proficiency: proficiency with office tech, databases, and online registration systems.
