Natus Neuro in Gort, Co. Galway, invites applications for an Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team on a hybrid basis (2 days onsite per week).

The role provides exposure to European finance operations, month-end reporting, VAT compliance, audits, and financial analysis across multiple legal entities. We seek a proactive professional with 3-4+ years of accounting experience who can work independently, manage priorities, and contribute to process improvements within a multinational

Qualifications

• 3-4+ years' experience in accounting or finance
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end processes
• Experience with VAT reporting and reconciliations
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial systems

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close activities across multiple European entities
• Prepare journals, reconciliations, and financial reports
• Assist with VAT, VIES, Intrastat and other statutory reporting requirements
• Support internal and external audit processes
• Perform financial analysis and control checks to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Investigate and resolve accounting queries
• Assist with process improvements and finance projects
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures and financial controls

We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team in Gort, Co. Galway.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support month-end close activities across multiple European entities
• Prepare journals, reconciliations, and financial reports
• Assist with VAT, VIES, Intrastat and other statutory reporting requirements
• Support internal and external audit processes
• Perform financial analysis and control checks to ensure accuracy and compliance

About You:
