Job summary

Lyrath Estate in Kilkenny seeks an experienced Assistant Accommodation Manager to support the Accommodation Manager and lead the accommodation team to the highest standards. You will oversee cleaning of guest rooms and public areas and coordinate with Front Office on room availability and guest requests.

Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, you will help train staff, manage rostering, and act as on-shift lead in the absence of the Accommodation Manager, ensuring smooth operations and

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
• Experience in hospitality operations is preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Management of the Accommodation department to include the cleaning of all guest rooms and hotel public areas to the highest standards.
• Supervise and Monitor all bedrooms to make sure they are cleaned to the highest standards for our guests.
• Work closely with the Accommodation Manager to make sure there are adequate staffing levels and rostering according to business & operational needs.
• Work closely with the front office team to ensure clear communication regarding the availability of rooms and any guest requests.
• Assist the Accommodation Manager in the training of new staff in the department.
• Act as the main point of contact in the absence of the Accommodation Manager and complete a handover at the end of your shift.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accommodation Manager to join the team at the exclusive five-star Lyrath Estate Hotel in Kilkenny.
