Job summary

Blake Search Partners is partnering with a pan-European real estate investment and asset manager to appoint a senior asset manager for a Dublin shopping centre. You will own leasing strategy, oversee tenant mix and drive income and footfall across the asset, with input on the fund’s office and PRS assets.

You will collaborate with fund and investment teams on business planning, capital projects, valuations and reporting, while managing relations with agents, property managers and other advisors.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in commercial property, with a strong focus on retail or shopping centres.
• Hands-on experience managing budgets, contractors and service providers.
• Exposure to residential/PRS or mixed-use assets is an advantage but not a prerequisite.
• Commercially minded with strong financial and analytical skills.
• Experience leading operational teams.
• Confident dealing with tenants, advisors and senior stakeholders.
• Organised and self-directed with good attention to detail.
• MSCSI or MRICS qualification preferred.
• Strong Excel and reporting skills; Yardi or similar systems experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive all lease events at the shopping centre, including lettings, renewals, lease restructures and surrenders, working with the appointed letting agents.
• Manage an upcoming lease expiry schedule, with a focus on protecting income and improving tenant mix.
• Prepare and deliver annual business plans for each asset in line with the fund’s objectives.
• Spot opportunities to add value, whether through refurbishment, repositioning, operational changes or cost savings, and see them through.
• Monitor and report on key metrics, including occupancy, rental values, net operating income and capital spend against budget.
• Oversee the on-site centre management team and external property managers to ensure high standards of operation, tenant service and compliance.
• Keep a close eye on rent and service charge collection and arrears.
• Contribute to capex, development and sustainability projects across the portfolio.
• Act as a key point of contact between external advisors and internal teams in finance, legal, investment and development.

Our client is a pan-European real estate investment and asset manager with offices in Dublin and London, and part of a leading international investment group. It invests in value-add and opportunistic real estate. It grows asset value through active management, refurbishment and repositioning. In Ireland, its portfolio includes retail, office and PRS residential assets. They group manages over €100bn in assets.

The Role:

You will take ownership of a large shopping centre in Dublin and set the leasing approach and tenant line-up to drive income and footfall. You will also have input across the fund’s office and PRS assets.
