Job summary

Linde Material Handling in Dublin is seeking an Asset Manager to lead and grow the Short Term Rental portfolio. You will steer sales activity, provide forecasts and drive revenue through used-truck sales while managing regional stock and fleet utilization.

Qualifications

• Experience valuing, disposing and selling assets.
• Strong commercial sense and financial awareness.
• High numeracy and IT literacy; proficient with data and systems.
• Proven ability to find and grow business; target-driven.
• Experience in Material Handling, Automotive, Hiring/Leasing, Plant, Agriculture or Construction is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage and grow Short Term Rental business, meet annual units and revenue targets.
• Provide current, accurate forecasts and reporting.
• Drive end-user Used Truck sales and fleet utilization.
• Develop and implement budget targets and financial controls.
• Manage regional stock and storage capacity; monitor age and condition.
• Participate in Leadership Team to manage national fleet, planning and disposal.

We are looking for a skilled Asset Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be:

• Proactively managing, steering and growing the business of ‘Short Term Rental’ by understanding the market, optimizing the sales funnel, managing the sales team activity, and ultimately delivering on annual targets for units and revenue
• Providing current, accurate forecasts
• Driving end-user Used Truck sales
• Developing and implementing budgetary targets, financial controls and reports
• Managing of regional stock and storage capacity
• Participating as an active member of the Leadership Team to manage the national fleet; additions and disposal, fleet utilization, stock availability, peak planning, condition reporting and age profile
• Monitoring and reporting departmental performance and recommending/taking appropriate recovery actions where required
• Managing and developing staff and team capability and performance
