Job summary

Corlann invites applications for the role of Social Care Manager Grade 3 (Area Manager) at Limerick Community Services. This permanent full-time position is 39 hours per week, based in Limerick, with responsibilities in people management and service delivery.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years post-qualification management experience, strong leadership and IT skills, and solid knowledge of HIQA and New Directions Standards.

Qualifications

• Have at least 3 years post qualification experience in people management.
• Have a proactive approach to leading, driving and implementing change with excellent interpersonal, communication and IT skills.
• Have strong leadership qualities, highly motivated, innovative with the ability to work on own initiative along with the skills to manage and influence staff in a team working environment.
• Have a strong knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations
• Have a strong knowledge of New Directions Standards
• Have relevant knowledge and experience of providing residential & day services to adults with an Intellectual Disability.
• Have relevant knowledge and experience of providing services to adults with autism and an Intellectual disability
• Possess a full clean driving licence and own vehicle.
• Will be required to meet staff and people supported by the services on a regular basis. These visits will take place outside the normal 9 – 5 time frame.
• Will be required to work a number of weekends throughout the year
