Job summary

Corlann invites applications for the permanent, full-time position of Social Care Manager Grade 3 (Area Manager) based at Limerick Community Services. The role is 39 hours per week with weekend work and occasional visits outside standard hours.

You will lead staff, ensure HIQA and New Directions standards compliance, and provide residential and day services to adults with intellectual disabilities. A driving licence is required and applicants should have 3+ years of management experience.

Qualifications

• Have at least 3 years post qualification experience in people management.
• Proactive approach to leading, driving and implementing change with excellent interpersonal, communication and IT skills.
• Strong leadership qualities, highly motivated, innovative with the ability to work on own initiative and influence staff in a team environment.
• Strong knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations.
• Strong knowledge of New Directions Standards.
• Relevant knowledge and experience of providing residential & day services to adults with an Intellectual Disability.
• Have a full clean driving licence and own vehicle.
• Will be required to meet staff and people supported by the services on a regular basis, including visits outside normal working hours.
• Will be required to work a number of weekends throughout the year.

LOCATION: LIMERICK COMMUNITY SERVICES
