Job summary

Global Professional Consultants seeks a Design Coordinator with a background as an Architect or Architectural Technologist to lead coordination across multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced project delivery environment.

You will ensure delivery aligns with programme requirements, maintain records, and support project managers with design activities and stakeholder engagement. Excellent communication, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Architect or Architectural Technologist.
• 3+ years' experience in architecture, project coordination, design management, or relevant technical/project coordination experience.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Must hold eligibility to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, across multidisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate multiple concurrent projects, supporting delivery in line with programme schedules, project requirements, and performance targets.
• Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and site visits, maintaining accurate records and ensuring actions are followed through to completion.
• Manage project information, including design queries, RFIs, documentation, and document control processes.
• Work closely with Project Managers and technical teams to coordinate design activities, monitor progress, and maintain alignment across all disciplines.
• Liaise with operational and site teams to ensure project activities align with site standards.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, and KPIs, providing regular progress updates and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in coordination of new project requests and RFQs, including initial scope walkdowns and distribution to discipline leads.

A leading multidisciplinary consultancy specialising in engineering, architecture, and project delivery, have a new opportunity for a design coordinator to join the collaborative team.

The design coordinator will be a highly organised and proactive architect or architectural technologist who can support the delivery of multidisciplinary projects in a fast-paced environment.

You'll act as the key link between clients, design teams, and project stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on schedule, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
