Harper Finley in Ireland is seeking a hands-on apprentice to install, service and repair automated doors and loading bays on commercial sites. You will work alongside experienced field engineers to learn through real installations and service tasks.

You will complete service records, follow safety procedures and receive full training with progression into a qualified field-service role. The role is based on a 40–45 hour week and offers apprenticeship support.

Formación

• Registered electrical apprentice.
• Strong interest in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Comfortable working with tools on commercial sites.
• Reliable, safety-conscious and eager to learn.

The Company:

A growing Irish engineering company specialising in the installation, servicing and repair of industrial doors and loading‑bay systems across commercial and industrial sites.

The Role:

This is a hands‑on electrical and mechanical position working alongside experienced field engineers. The role involves installing, servicing and repairing automated doors, loading bays and associated equipment.

This is not domestic work or traditional first and second fixing.

Apprentices must be interested in mechanical systems, maintenance and fault‑finding.

Responsibilities

• Support fault‑finding and preventative maintenance
• Use hand and power tools safely
• Complete service records
• Follow site safety and quality procedures

The Person:

• Registered electrical apprentice.
• Strong interest in mechanical and electrical systems
• Comfortable working with tools and on commercial sites
• Reliable, safety-conscious and willing to learn
• Full driving licence desirable
• Safe Pass or willing to obtain one
