Job summary

Avonmore Electrical Co. Ltd in Ireland is seeking a motivated individual to assist in a busy workshop on a full-time basis. Join a family-run company renowned for servicing pharma, food processing, energy and manufacturing sectors.

You will be involved in overhaul work on motors and gearboxes, maintain job records, support colleagues, and help prepare items for painting within a safety-conscious, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Be able to work as part of a team and take initiative.
• Experience with mechanical machinery is desirable.
• Garage background may be suitable for this role.

Responsibilities

• Overhaul motors, gearboxes and pumps.
• Keep accurate records of each job in internal systems.
• Assist staff with larger tasks as needed.
• Prepare items for painting.
• Load and unload goods.
• Work to set timeframes.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and PPE.
• Perform other duties as required.

We’re a family-run business that’s small enough to care, yet big enough to handle the most complex electro-mechanical repairs and machinery maintenance.We’re now looking for a motivated individual to join our team .

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS:

• Excellent communication skills.
• The ability to work as part of a team and take initiative when needed.
• Experience working with Mechanical Machinery equipment would be desirable.
• Strong work ethic.
• This role may be suitable for someone who has a garage background.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Assisting with the overhaul of motors/gearboxes/pumps etc.
• Good record keeping ability of each job worked on(internal record keeping systems)
• Assisting staff members with larger work items.
• Preparing items for painting.
• Loading and unloading goods.
• Working to set time frames.
• Complies with H&S regulations and the wearing of correct PPE.
• Other duties as required on an ad-hoc basis.
