Apple Inc. is seeking a technically adept Apple Pay eCommerce Specialist to support merchants and PSPs in integrating Apple Pay across ecommerce platforms.

You will act as the technical point of contact, guiding cross-functional teams to ensure smooth enablement and optimal user experiences. The role requires a strong communicator with a background in online payments, system diagnostics, and autonomous project execution, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to drive adoption

Formación

• Experience in online payments ecosystem including merchant segments, PSPs, networks and processors.

• Experience integrating, supporting, and troubleshooting a complex software suite.

Apple Pay and Apple Wallet continue to grow and become integral to the daily lives of our consumers, and with more developments to come, it’s an exciting time ahead for the Apple payments and services business. The Wallet, Payments and Commerce (WPC) team is looking for an Apple Pay Technical Specialist to join the Apple Pay team to accelerate and provide technical support for integrations with eCommerce merchants and platforms.This role will be will be the technical point of contact for merchants integrating Apple Pay, providing technical assistance via telephone, e-mail, and remote support tools to help simplify and streamline enablement of Apple Pay.

Description

This is a highly cross-functional role requiring a collaborative and engaging communicator who can build strong rapport with both external partners (merchants and strategic partners) and internal teams across the WPC organization (including Business Development, Product, and Operations).In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise and relationship-management skills to guide merchants and Payment Service Providers (PSPs) through the integration of Apple Pay across their e-commerce channels.

Responsibilities

• Drive Technical Integrations: Support Apple Pay e-commerce merchant teams by providing the technical guidance and hands-on support necessary to integrate Apple Pay functionality into merchant and PSP platforms.
• Resolve Integration Hurdles: Partner with Apple Pay Merchant Specialists to address pre- and post-sales technical issues, diagnosing and resolving complex integration problems faced by merchants.
• Optimize User Experiences: Meticulously review and document merchant UX across existing app and web implementations to identify feature gaps, improve checkout conversion rates, and elevate transaction quality.
• Champion Best-in-Class Implementations: Inspire partners to build exceptional Apple Pay and Wallet experiences, driving the adoption of new features and establishing product implementation best practices.
• Create Developer Resources: Assist in authoring and maintaining high-quality technical documentation, integration blueprints, and enablement guides for merchants.
• Manage & Scale Projects: Autonomously lead multiple concurrent partner projects, craft scalable integration workflows, and provide clear, consistent progress updates to business leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

• Industry Domain Expertise: Experience working within the online payments ecosystem, including merchant segments, PSPs, payment networks, and processors.
• Partner-Facing Troubleshooting: Highly skilled at helping external partners navigate technical complexities and overcome integration hurdles to drive technology adoption.
• System Diagnostics: Experience integrating, supporting, and troubleshooting a complex suite of software, products, and services.
• Adaptable Communication: Exceptional client-facing communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable advice for non-technical stakeholders.
• UX Advocate: A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer journeys and seamless user experiences.
• Exceptional Learning Agility: A proven ability to rapidly self-onboard onto unfamiliar toolsets, languages, or software platforms with minimal guidance.
• Autonomous Execution: A highly organized self-starter with the discipline and project management skills to drive initiatives end-to-end with high autonomy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience in app or website development.
