Job summary

MSD in Ballydine, Co. Tipperary, seeks an API Maintenance Lead (Assoc. Dir) to head maintenance planning for the API IPT, ensuring high asset uptime, compliance with cGMP, and cost management.

You will lead a skilled team, develop maintenance strategies, and collaborate on site projects and budgets. The role requires an honours degree in engineering or science, 5+ years in engineering/maintenance, and strong leadership with focus on safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Honours degree in engineering, science, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in an engineering or maintenance environment.
• Knowledge of Operational Excellence and Asset Reliability Principles.
• Strong knowledge of Safety & Environmental legislation.
• Strong unit operation and plant equipment knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule all PM and CM activities for facilities and equipment.
• Execute and close out maintenance activities.
• Develop and optimise PM programs for equipment.
• Investigate and close PM deviations and equipment deviations.
• Manage engineering expenses and contribute to site capital planning.
