Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Employee Relations Manager for the Global Corporate Employee Relations (GCER) team. Based in Tokyo, Japan, the role spans APJC, leading strategic ER programs, complex investigations, and data-driven practices. Travel up to 30% may be required.

You will partner with HR, Legal, and business leaders across regions to ensure fair treatment and compliant policies, while leveraging GenAI tools for insights and reporting.

Qualifications

• : Five (5)+ years in Employee Relations and/or Labor Relations.
• : Fluency in English and Japanese is essential.
• : Experience with APAC employment and labor laws.
• : Experience managing complex workplace investigations into discrimination, harassment, retaliation.
• : Ability to assess data to identify root causes and influence HR leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic ER guidance to APJC leadership and HR partners.
• Lead complex investigations into discrimination, harassment, retaliation.
• Develop and evolve ER programs using data-driven insights.
• Partner with Legal, PXT, and regional SMEs to align policies.
