Job summary

ESB is seeking an AMI and Communications Specialist, IT Delivery to join the AMI & Comms team based in Dublin. You will maintain availability, performance and security of critical applications, lead incidents, support releases and disaster recovery, and drive continuous improvement across a complex IT landscape.

The role requires a minimum of five years in IT services with enterprise tech experience, strong communication and collaboration skills, and a track record in 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in ESB IT services, infrastructure and enterprise tech.
• Knowledge of Utility Industry applications and integration architectures.
• Experience with server administration in Windows and RHEL environments.
• Strong incident management, documentation and change control experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain availability, performance and security of critical applications through monitoring and health checks.
• Troubleshoot incidents and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service continuity.
• Support releases, patching, upgrades, change requests and DR activities including failover testing.
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver new applications and transfer knowledge to support teams.
• Identify improvements, automation opportunities and service enhancements across the landscape.
• Work with stakeholders, vendors and support teams to deliver end-to-end services.
• Participate in on-call and out-of-hours support as required.
