Job summary

Camden Recruitment Partners is seeking a mid‑senior investment analyst in Dublin to support fund analytics, financial modelling and investor reporting across the fund lifecycle. You will work with the investment, finance and senior management teams to ensure accurate performance metrics and compelling investor materials.

The role involves building IRR and scenario models, developing dashboards, and assisting fundraising efforts.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in alternative investments, investment management, or related advisory.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills including IRR and scenario analysis.
• Strong quantitative skills and ability to analyse large datasets.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication/presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and reconcile fund and investment data for accurate performance reporting.
• Build financial models covering IRR, MOIC, yield, liquidity, and portfolio metrics.
• Prepare quarterly performance packs, investor reports and updates.
• Support fund structuring and scenario analyses for new funds.
• Develop dashboards and tools to monitor portfolio analytics.
• Provide insights to support fundraising and investor due diligence.
• Create investor materials including decks and fund fact sheets.
• Collaborate with investment, finance and senior management on performance reporting.
• Assist in investor meetings, data rooms, and process improvements.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high growth alternative asset manager. The role offers broad exposure across fund analytics, financial modelling, performance reporting and investor relations, supporting the full fund lifecycle from structuring and capital deployment through to reporting, fundraising and investor engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and reconcile fund and investment-level data, producing accurate performance reporting and portfolio analysis.
• Build and maintain financial models covering IRR, MOIC, yield, liquidity and portfolio performance.
• Prepare quarterly performance packs, investor reports and portfolio updates.
• Support fund structuring, scenario analysis and the launch of new alternative investment funds.
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools to improve portfolio monitoring and analytics.
• Produce analysis to support fundraising, investor queries and due diligence.
• Prepare investor materials including pitch decks, fund presentations and fact sheets.
• Work closely with investment, finance and senior management teams on fund performance and investor reporting.
• Support investor meetings, data rooms and ongoing process improvements.

Key Requirements

• 3–5 years’ experience within alternative investments, investment management, transaction services, corporate finance or deal advisory.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, including IRR and scenario analysis.
• Strong quantitative skills and experience analysing large financial datasets.
• Power BI or similar data visualisation experience is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced investment environment.
