Mason Alexander is partnering with leading investment managers and alternative asset firms expanding their Dublin finance teams. We seek ambitious finance professionals with fund accounting, fund administration or alternative investments experience to join a growing platform.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent qualification (or working towards).
• Experience within fund accounting, fund administration or financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of alternative investment structures.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive approach with a desire to develop your career within a leading investment platform.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review NAVs and financial reporting.
• Manage month-end close, reconciliations and journal entries.
• Oversee capital calls, distributions and investor reporting.
• Liaise with fund administrators, auditors and custodians.
• Coordinate financial statements and audits.
• Oversee outsourced service providers.
• Support fund launches and new products.
• Collaborate with Investment, Operations, Legal, Tax and Investor Relations teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve controls, reporting and efficiency.

Mason Alexander is currently partnering with a number of leading investment managers and alternative asset firms that are expanding their finance teams in Dublin.

We are looking to speak with ambitious finance professionals who have experience within fund accounting, fund administration or alternative investments and are interested in taking the next step in their careers.

Typical Responsibilities

• Preparation and review of NAVs and financial reporting
• Month-end close, reconciliations and journal entries
• Capital calls, distributions and investor reporting
• Liaising with fund administrators, auditors and custodians
• Financial statement preparation and audit coordination
• Oversight of outsourced service providers
• Supporting fund launches, new products and operational projects
• Working closely with Investment, Operations, Legal, Tax and Investor Relations teams
• Identifying opportunities to improve controls, reporting and operational efficiency
