Job summary

Ryanair are recruiting for an Airport Systems Analyst to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group. This 12 month temporary position is based near Woodfort in Santry, Ireland, with irregular hours dictated by operational needs.

The role involves deploying, upgrading and supporting Ryanair DCS and Self Bagdrop solutions across the network, plus go-live support at airports/bases and liaison with providers like SITA, ARINC, RESA, Amadeus and Flight Solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in airport/aviation industry.
• Familiarity with Newskies applications such as Skyspeed, GoNow, SkyReports.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Managing deployment, upgrades & support of Ryanair DCS and Self Bagdrop solutions across the Ryanair Group Network.
• Supporting new site/DCS/self bagdrop go-lives at airports/bases, onsite and remotely.
• Liaising with Common Use providers across the Ryanair Group Network (SITA, ARINC, RESA, Amadeus, Flight Solutions).
• User Acceptance Testing for new installs, upgrades and changes to Reservations, DCS and Operational systems (Newskies, Website, Mobile App, Self Bagdrop kiosks).
• Developing and testing changes with system providers when business rules change (Ryanair Labs/Navitaire, 3rd party providers).
• Supporting airports/handlers to troubleshoot DCS/Self Bagdrop issues, including travel to site.
• Assisting Regional Managers with troubleshooting delays to DCS/Self Bagdrop issues.
• Identifying IT requirements and test cases for Ground Ops solutions.

Job description

Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Airport Systems Analyst to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group! This 12 month temporary position based out by Woodford in Santry is an excellent opportunity to work within our greater operations, travelling between our bases and work within different airports. Standard office hours apply but due to our operation, working irregular hours is a condition of your employment. Shift times and patterns may be changed, subject to operational requirements. The ideal candidate would have strong analytical skills and able to work on their own inititive.

Responsibilities Include

• Managing the deployment, upgrades & support of the Ryanair DCS & Self Bagdrop Solutions across the Ryanair Group Network
• Supporting new site/DCS/self bagdrop go lives at airports/bases, both onsite and remotely.
• Liaising with Common Use system providers across the Ryanair Group Network regarding new installs, changes/upgrades to existing solutions & support issues, incl. but not limited to SITA, ARINC, RESA, Amadeus & Flight Solutions.
• User Acceptance Testing for all new installs, upgrades and changes to Reservations, DCS and Operational systems, incl. but not limited to Newskies applications, Website, Mobile App, Self Badgrop kiosks & Government Security Messaging
• Developing & testing all required changes with system providers when business rules change (both internally with Ryanair Labs/Navitaire and externally with 3rd party Common Use & Self Bagdrop providers)
• Supporting airports/handlers to troubleshoot any DCS/Self Bagdrop related issues, including travelling to site as required.
• Supporting Regional Managers with troubleshooting/investigating any DCS/Self Bagdrop related issues/delays
• Identifying IT requirements/enhancements for Ground Ops & preparation of use cases, test cases and test plans for identified solutions
• Liaising with Ryanair Labs to develop these solutions as well as identifying and informing them of the impact of their new solutions or changes to solutions on the operation from a Ground Ops perspective
• Liaising with the Ryanair Group Training department to co-ordinate GoNow go lives as well as to create & update procedures for Ground Staff regarding DCS, LDCS and manual check-in & boarding.
• Previous airport/aviation industry experience
• Familiarity with Newskies applications: Skyspeed, GoNow, SkyReports etc.
• Familiarity with Self Service Bagdrop Kiosks
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word & Excel
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment, and to work to deadlines
