Job summary

BaxterStorey is recruiting a Kitchen Porter for our Dublin Airport site. You will ensure a well-organised, clean kitchen and support the culinary team across early and late shifts.

The role offers €15.00 per hour, 40 hours per week, 5 over 7, with pre-employment checks including Garda Vetting and verification of employment history. Qualifications

• Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
• Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and sanitation practices is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Dishwashing – Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment either by hand or using industrial dishwashers
• Kitchen Cleanliness – Clean and sanitise kitchen surfaces, countertops, and food preparation areas. Empty rubbish bins and ensure proper disposal of waste materials
• Food Preparation – Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling, chopping, and slicing ingredients
• Inventory Management – Assist in receiving, storing, and organising kitchen supplies and ingredients
• Compliance with Health and safety – maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen ensuring equipment is in good working order
