Job summary

Ace Express Freight is seeking a proactive Freight Coordinator to support day-to-day import/export shipments and manage documentation. You will build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues while contributing to operational performance and compliance standards.

Based at Blakes Cross, Lusk, Co. Dublin, the role offers a permanent contract with a 6-month probation and a hybrid working option after probation.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong reporting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience liaising with customers, suppliers, and carriers.
• Experience coordinating and monitoring shipments, including ETA management.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work on own initiative.
• Self-motivated and driven to achieve set targets.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and execute freight support activities across the team using the UAF/ACE system.
• Handle inbound emails, calls and queries with customers and suppliers.
• Assist with KPI data and reporting; work on exports function as needed.
