Qualifications

• 2+ years of air export freight forwarding experience in Ireland.
• Strong knowledge of air export docs and Irish export procedures.
• Proficient with air freight software (CargoWise, MultiFreight).
• Ability to meet tight airline cut-off times.
• Knowledge of Known Cargo security rules and MAWB/HAWB paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end air export lifecycle including bookings, routing, and tracking.
• Negotiate with airlines, GSAs, and partners for best rates and space.
• Prepare MAWB/HAWB and Irish export declarations in compliance.
• Serve as primary contact for air export clients with updates and solutions.
• Audit invoices and manage air export costing for profitability.

We are seeking an experienced Air Export Operator to manage end-to-end global air freight shipments. If you excel in air export operations, freight routing, and carrier negotiations, this role offers exceptional career growth within the international freight forwarding sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Air Export Management: Oversee the complete air export freight lifecycle, handling bookings, routing, and tracking for time-critical air freight cargo.
• Freight Carrier Negotiation: Partner with commercial airlines, GSAs, and global freight partners to secure competitive air export spot rates and optimal cargo space.
• Export Customs & Compliance: Draft accurate air freight documentation, including MAWBs, HAWBs, and Irish Revenue export customs declarations in compliance with aviation security standards.
• Client & Freight Operations: Act as the primary point of contact for air export clients, offering proactive transit updates and strategic freight solutions.
• Financial Control: Manage air export job costing, audit incoming freight invoices, and issue client billing to maximize file profitability.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience dedicated to air export freight forwarding within Ireland.
• Strong knowledge of air export documentation, Known Cargo security rules, and Irish export customs procedures.
• Hands‑on experience with industry‑standard freight management software (CargoWise, MultiFreight, or similar air freight systems).
• Ability to prioritize high-volume air export shipments under tight airline cut‑off times.
