Adecco in Dublin is seeking an AI Governance Analyst on a 6-month contract, hybrid in Dublin 2. You will help shape and embed AI governance, ensure responsible deployment and regulatory alignment across Technology, Risk, Compliance and Legal.

Reporting to the AI Governance Manager, you will manage use-case intake, track governance lifecycle, and support committees while working with a four-person team. Prior experience in technology risk and AI oversight is preferred.

AI GOVERNANCE ANALYST (CONTRACT)

Location: Dublin 2 (hybrid)

Contract: 6 months initially with view to extension

Daily rate/pay rate: Competitive

ROLE OVERVIEW

• We are seeking an AI Governance Analyst to join our expanding AI Governance team.
• This role offers the chance to play a key role in shaping and embedding AI governance across the organisation.
• Reporting to the AI Governance Manager, you will support the development and operation of the Bank's AI Governance Framework, ensuring AI solutions are deployed responsibly, ethically, and in line with regulatory requirements.
• Working within a specialist team of four professionals, you will partner closely with stakeholders across Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Data Protection, and the business to oversee AI initiatives, assess AI-related risks, support governance committees, and help ensure compliance with emerging regulations such as the EU AI Act.
• This role is particularly suited to someone with a background in Technology Risk who has developed experience in AI Governance, AI Risk, Responsible AI, Model Governance, or AI Compliance within financial services or another highly regulated environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

AI Governance Framework & Operational Support

• Support the ongoing development, implementation, and enhancement of the Bank's AI Governance Framework.
• Manage the intake and assessment of AI use cases, ensuring submissions are complete, accurate, and reviewed through appropriate governance channels.
• Track AI initiatives, actions, approvals, and decisions throughout the governance lifecycle.
• Support the remediation and governance review of existing AI solutions.
• Maintain governance artefacts including policies, standards, frameworks, procedures, and guidance documentation.

AI Risk Management

• Support the identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting of AI-related risks.
• Evaluate risks associated with:
  • Machine Learning models
  • Generative AI solutions
  • Large Language Models (LLMs)
  • Microsoft Copilot deployments
  • AI model training and model lifecycle management
  • Data processing and data privacy considerations
• Contribute to risk assessments, controls testing, governance reviews, and monitoring activities.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and governance reporting metrics.

AI Regulatory & Compliance Oversight

• Support compliance activities relating to evolving AI regulations and standards, including the EU AI Act.
• Monitor developments in AI regulation, responsible AI practices, and industry best practice.
• Liaise with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Data Protection, and Information Security teams to ensure appropriate governance controls are embedded.
• Assist with documenting governance decisions and maintaining evidence of regulatory compliance.

Governance Committees & Stakeholder Engagement

• Coordinate AI governance committee activities, including meeting scheduling, agenda management, preparation of committee packs, minutes, and action tracking.
• Engage with stakeholders across the business with varying levels of AI knowledge and maturity.
• Provide guidance and support on governance requirements, processes, and expectations.
• Support governance forums and working groups responsible for AI oversight.

Training & AI Enablement

• Assist in developing training materials and awareness programmes to improve organisational AI literacy.
• Promote responsible AI practices and risk-aware AI adoption across the Bank.
• Support communication initiatives to help stakeholders understand governance requirements and regulatory obligations.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve governance processes, controls, and reporting.
• Support the evolution of AI governance capabilities as AI technologies and regulatory expectations continue to mature.
• Contribute to building a scalable governance model that supports innovation while maintaining strong risk management practices.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience within Technology Risk, IT Risk, Operational Risk, Risk & Control, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), or Model Risk Management.
• Relevant experience supporting AI Governance, AI Risk, Responsible AI, AI Compliance, Model Governance, or related AI oversight activities.
• Experience working within Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, Asset Management, FinTech, or another highly regulated environment.
• Understanding of AI Governance principles and AI risk management practices.
• Knowledge of:
  • Machine Learning
  • Generative AI
  • Large Language Models (LLMs)
  • AI model training concepts
  • Data processing risks associated with AI
• Familiarity with AI regulatory requirements, particularly the EU AI Act.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to understand and communicate risk, governance, and compliance concepts effectively.
• Comfortable operating in a rapidly evolving and developing governance environment.

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Experience supporting or implementing AI Governance Frameworks.
• Exposure to governance of Microsoft Copilot or similar AI-powered productivity tools.
• Understanding of Model Risk Management frameworks.
• Experience developing governance reporting, KRIs, or controls monitoring processes.
• Knowledge of Data Privacy, Information Security, and Responsible AI principles.
• Experience supporting governance committees and senior stakeholder forums.
