Job summary

IT Search in Ireland is recruiting a Senior QA Engineer for a financial organisation. This is a hands-on role focused on data validation, SQL, ETL testing, and automation with AI-enabled tools across Europe.

You will own the QA lifecycle end-to-end, work with developers, business analysts, and production support to ensure compliant regulatory reporting, with a 6‑month contract and a 3 onsite/2 remote schedule.

Qualifications

• At least 5+ years of hands-on QA experience with SQL and ETL/data migration testing.
• Deep experience with data validation and data quality checks.
• Hands-on with test automation and AI-enabled testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead test planning, design, RTM creation, defect management, and execution across Agile/Waterfall.
• Perform deep E2E ETL testing and data migration validation on finance pipelines.
• Drive test automation initiatives using Generative AI tooling to accelerate testing.
• Collaborate with global Dev, QA, and Production teams to release safely.
