Job summary

McAfee in Ireland (Hybrid) seeks a Globalization Engineer (Language Specialist) to lead AI-powered localization, quality assurance, and asset governance within our Globalization Engineering team.

You will drive AI-enabled localization strategies, automate workflows, and ensure multilingual content is accurate and culturally aligned with brand standards. The role requires multilingual expertise, strong linguistic skills, and collaboration across functions.

Qualifications

• Experience in localization engineering, QA, or related field
• Strong linguistic background and language quality focus
• Experience with localization platforms and automation tools

Responsibilities

• Drive AI-powered localization workflows and adoption of automation technologies
• Define and maintain language quality standards, style guides and terminology
• Own governance of linguistic assets (terminology, translation memories, taxonomies, ontologies)
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve localization outcomes and scale AI localization efforts
