Job summary
Optum seeks a senior Ideation & Growth Portfolio Manager to lead the Coordination of Benefits portfolio and related growth initiatives. You will partner with Analytics, Product, Finance, Technology, and leadership to drive value realization, automation, and scalable operating models.
You will help advance AI and GenAI capabilities, develop business cases, and establish governance for portfolio reporting and decision-making, while delivering cost savings and revenue growth.
Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare operations, Payment Integrity, or COB environments.
- Proven ability to lead portfolios, drive value realization, and support growth.
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills with reporting experience.
- Experience with AI, analytics, or automation to improve processes.
- Ability to partner with cross-functional stakeholders and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end Ideation & Growth portfolio for COB, drive value and cost savings.
- Lead portfolio planning, capacity models, and automation goals to maximize value.
- Measure and report value realization, savings, revenue, and volumes monthly.
- Drive Growth Modernization by reducing manual effort and increasing automation.
- Identify and onboard data assets enabling growth and new opportunities.
- Collaborate with Analytics, Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Operations teams.
- Develop business cases and investment recommendations for AI and data opportunities.
- Lead AI/GenAI use cases and governance for portfolio reporting and deployment.
