Job summary

Optum in Ireland is seeking an Ideation & Growth Portfolio Manager to lead reporting, analytics, and performance management for the Coordination of Benefits portfolio and the broader Ideation and Growth portfolio. You will partner with Operations, Finance, Product, Technology, and leadership teams to drive value realization and informed strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related discipline or equivalent professional experience
• Experience in healthcare operations, Payment Integrity, Coordination of Benefits, claims auditing, reporting, or related healthcare functions
• Experience leading portfolios and programs, with value realization and growth within healthcare environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including forecasting, productivity metrics, and financial performance reporting
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate reporting under tight deadlines
• Experience using AI, analytics, or intelligent automation to enhance processes
• Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders across Operations, Product, Finance, Technology, and leadership teams

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Ideation & Growth portfolio for Coordination of Benefits, driving opportunity identification, deployment, value realization, and savings growth
• Lead portfolio volume planning and productivity performance, establish capacity models and deployment velocity metrics
• Support measurement, monitoring, and reporting of Non-Clinical ideation and growth initiatives, including value realization and revenue tracking
• Drive Growth Modernization initiatives by reducing manual effort and increasing automation penetration
• Lead onboarding of internal and external data assets to enable growth and new opportunities
• Partner with Analytics, Product, Engineering, Data Science, Operations, and Payment Integrity stakeholders to establish scalable data capabilities
• Develop business cases and investment recommendations for data, technology, AI, and innovation opportunities
• Lead AI/GenAI and automation use cases to enhance ideation, lead generation, governance, and portfolio reporting
• Establish and monitor portfolio KPIs to ensure growth and operational excellence objectives
