Job summary

State Street is seeking a Collateral Management Officer in Ireland to partner with global teams and support collateral activities for assigned clients and portfolios. The role focuses on margin calls, dispute handling, allocation, and settlements across Bilateral OTC, Repo, and Initial Margin processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in collateral management, including margin call processing and settlements.
• Strong understanding of Bilateral OTC, Repo, and Regulatory Initial Margin processes.
• Ability to investigate and resolve exceptions, perform reconciliations, and identify risks.
• Analytical mindset with data interpretation skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external clients, providing operational support and resolving collateral inquiries.
• Coordinate daily team activities, issue resolution, and escalation management.
• Support migration of Ireland-based clients to Collateral+, ensuring a smooth transition.
• Drive operational efficiencies through process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Develop expertise across collateral management platforms and share knowledge within the team.
• Implement and maintain robust controls, procedures, and risk management practices.
• Review and validate collateral activity, balances, and data for accuracy and compliance.
• Analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.
• Build strong relationships with clients and internal partners to ensure timely resolution.
