Docusign seeks an AI agentic Engineer to help shape automation for IT operations. You will design AI prompts, engineer agent structures, and build integrations with tools like ServiceNow and Slack. The role emphasizes experimentation with LLMs, zero-trust practices, and scalable automation.
You will work in a hybrid setup reporting to the Director, IT Operations, collaborating with Security and EUS teams to reduce manual tickets and improve self-service for employees.
Docusign brings agreements to life. Over 1.5 million customers and more than a billion people in over 180 countries use Docusign solutions to accelerate the process of doing business and simplify people’s lives. With intelligent agreement management, Docusign unleashes business‑critical data that is trapped inside of documents. Until now, these were disconnected from business systems of record, costing businesses time, money, and opportunity. Using Docusign’s Intelligent Agreement Management platform, companies can create, commit, and manage agreements with solutions created by the #1 company in e‑signature and contract lifecycle management (CLM).
As an AI agentic Engineer on the End User Services team, you will help build the next wave of automation in Docusign’s IT operations. This role is a unique blend of AI tinkering and foundational IT automation. Your primary focus will be designing, building, and continuously evaluating AI agents and automation workflows that make our internal IT operations faster, more reliable, and easier for our employees to use. You don’t need to be a senior architect to succeed here. We are looking for a curious, builder‑minded engineer who loves tweaking AI prompts, structuring agentic tools, and connecting enterprise platforms. We prioritize an “out‑of‑the‑box (OOTB) first” approach—leveraging native platform capabilities in tools like ServiceNow—while stepping in to build custom integrations (like Python scripts or REST APIs) when needed. If you love experimenting with LLMs, making systems talk to each other, and solving puzzles, this is the role for you. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, IT Operations.
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in‑office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in‑office expectation). Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid, or Remote and are specific to the role/job. Preferred job designations are not guaranteed when changing positions within Docusign. Docusign reserves the right to change a position’s job designation depending on business needs and as permitted by local law.
