Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to design, build, and deploy custom AI agent architectures at the intersection of production code and strategic customer impact in Ireland.

You will work with a Deployment Strategist to deliver AI-driven solutions using Agentforce and Salesforce Data 360. The role requires hands-on software engineering, cloud data integration, and experience with LLMs and CI/CD in a customer-facing setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on software engineering in full-stack, data, or cloud environments.
• Customer-facing delivery experience in services or forward-deployed engineering.
• Proficiency in at least one OO or scripting language (Python/TypeScript/Java/Apex) and strong API design.
• Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, agent orchestration, and evaluation metrics.
• Strong relational data modeling, SQL, and cloud data warehouses.
• Work authorization to work in Ireland/EU.

Responsibilities

• Write, test, and ship production-grade code for intelligent agents and prompt pipelines.
• Model and connect enterprise data sources across Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks.
• Build and monitor agent evaluation frameworks, dashboards, and KPIs for reliability.
• Deliver rapid MVPs from complex customer requirements within days/weeks.
• Provide architectural feedback to R&D and co-lead architecture reviews with customers.
