Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer in Ireland (Dublin) to design, build, and deploy agentic AI solutions inside customer environments.

You will join a delivery team and partner with a Deployment Strategist to ship production-grade AI components for enterprise clients. You'll work on end-to-end architectures, data pipelines with Snowflake/Databricks, prompt engineering, and KPI dashboards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Prior customer-facing technical delivery experience.
• Fluent in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
• Hands-on with LLMs and prompt engineering.
• Understanding of data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns.
• Ability to work with sales teams and customer architects.
• Ship quality code and evaluate AI outputs with engineering rigor.
• Willingness to travel ~25%.

Responsibilities

• Design agent intelligence: prompts, reasoning, tool calls, and integration with customer systems.
• Own technical components end-to-end from architecture to production deployment.
• Build and maintain data pipelines on Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer data platforms.
• Develop agent performance dashboards and KPI reporting for deployment health and outcomes.
• Contribute to proofs-of-concept and MVPs ready to deploy in days.
• Collaborate with customers and partners, sharing best practices and enablement.
• Identify platform gaps and feed insights to senior engineers and product teams.
• Partner with Deployment Strategist to translate customer challenges into deployable solutions.
