Job summary

Applitrack is seeking a Clubs Coordinator for the SPARKS/Ignite afterschool program in Michigan. The role connects school and community clubs with afterschool opportunities and partners with staff, students, families, and community organizations to broaden access to engaging clubs.

The coordinator will gather student input to develop new clubs, support leadership teams, and ensure inclusive, high-quality enrichment experiences after school hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field required or preferred teaching credential.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience coordinating programs, clubs, partnerships, events, or enrichment activities preferred.
• Experience with school-age students in afterschool/educational settings preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, partnerships, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Connect existing school and community clubs with SPARKS/Ignite afterschool programs.
• Collaborate with program leadership, site coordinators, school personnel, club advisors, students, families, and community partners.
• Expand access to meaningful club opportunities and gather student input to identify new clubs.
• Strengthen collaboration between SPARKS/Ignite and current clubs.
• Respond to students' interests, strengths, and needs and ensure inclusive opportunities.
