Job summary

Sherpa Kids in Ireland is seeking an enthusiastic Before/After School Club helper to supervise children, assist with homework, and lead engaging activities indoors and outdoors. You will promote a safe, inclusive environment and support children with various tasks during after-school sessions.

Daily hours are 13:20 to 18:00, with Garda vetting completed after interview and work permit/VISA required. Prior experience with school-aged children is preferred, along with references and a positive,

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience with school-aged children.
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Garda vetting is essential and to be completed after interview.
• Work permit or visa is essential.
• At least 2 written references required before starting.

Job Description

• Supervise children during activities and free play

• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment
• Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year)
• Basic knowledge of child development
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• Work Permit/ VISA essential
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting
