Job summary

Sherpa Kids is hiring in Ireland for part-time roles within our Before School, After School, and Holiday Clubs programs. You will supervise children, assist with homework, and lead a range of indoor and outdoor activities at schools. Garda vetting and two written references are required.

Role is on-site with afternoon hours (1.40–5.40 pm) and a supportive team environment. English proficiency is essential for effective communication with children and parents.

Qualifications

• Experience working with school-aged children (minimum 1 year).
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities and free play
• Assist with homework and educational tasks
• Engage in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day.
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment
