Job summary

Junior Adventures Group is hiring a Programme Lead for Sherpa Kids Ireland in Kilkenny. The role runs Monday to Friday 2:00 pm–6:00 pm at local schools, leading after-school and holiday club activities for school-aged children.

You will manage a small team, ensure safe, engaging sessions, and liaise with families and staff to support children's development. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year experience with school-aged children, a Fetac Level 5 childcare qualification or equivalent, strong

Qualifications

• Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year)
• Childcare qualification FetacLevel 5 or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of child development
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting

Responsibilities

• Programme Lead must have experience in managing and leading a team
• Own car required for programme lead
• Maintain the day-to-day activities
• Interacting with the children, their families and other staff members each day.
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Experience working with school aged children is preferred (Minimum 2 year)
• Proficiency in technology and software (Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
