Job Description

The Hub is seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and organised individual to run our After‑School Programme during school term time.

Position Details

• Days: Monday to Friday
• Location: Lorrha National School, Lorrha, Nenagh, Co Tipperary. E45AH95
• Hours: After‑school programme hours plus additional internal hours

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a safe, engaging, and inclusive after-school programme for primary school children.
• Supervise and support children in a positive and caring environment.
• Organise activities such as arts and crafts, games, homework support, and outdoor play.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming space.
• Communicate effectively with school staff and parents when required.
• Administrative duties including record keeping.

Full training will be provided.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting.
• Friendly, patient, and energetic with a genuine interest in child development.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant childcare qualifications are desirable but not essential.
