Job summary

Sherpa Kids Ireland is seeking a part-time Childcare Coordinator for Rutland NS in Dublin 1. The role involves leading a team, delivering after-school and holiday club activities, and maintaining daily programmes.

Experience with school-aged children (min. 1–2 years) and strong English skills are required. Garda vetting and two written references are mandatory, with a 1:10pm–5pm daily schedule plus admin time.

Qualifications

• Childcare qualification Fetac Level 5 or equivalent.
• Experience with school aged children preferred (Minimum 2 years).
• Garda vetting essential (completed after interview).
• Two written references required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the programme team on a day-to-day basis.
• Interact with children, their families and other staff daily.
• Maintain day-to-day activities and ensure engaging, safe sessions.
• Support a smooth, energetic delivery from Monday to Friday 1:10pm–5:00pm plus weekly admin time.
