Job summary

Allied Irish Bank is seeking a Financial Planning Specialist to advise affluent customers across pensions, investments, savings and protection. You will develop relationships, deliver tailored solutions and grow the portfolio through referrals within a nationwide team.

The role may involve travel across branches within the geography and requires strong compliance and professional standards as part of a growth-focused, customer-first culture.

Qualifications

• Fully QFA qualified.
• Demonstrable experience providing comprehensive financial planning advice to customers.
• Strong knowledge of pensions, investments, protection and savings solutions.
• Proven ability to build and manage customer relationships, generate opportunities and deliver results.
• Excellent communication, relationship management, negotiation and influencing skills.
• CFP® (Certified Financial Planner) qualification or willingness to complete this qualification.
• Experience managing a portfolio of affluent or high-value customers.
• Experience working in a target-driven, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with affluent personal and business customers, delivering comprehensive financial planning solutions tailored to their individual needs and goals.
• Provide expert advice across pensions, investments, protection and savings while ensuring customer needs remain at the centre of every recommendation.
• Lead and motivate branch colleagues, business centres and other key stakeholders to generate referral opportunities.
• Support the achievement of regional and local Customer Financial Planning objectives, helping drive commercial performance and customer outcomes.
• Operate to the highest standards of professionalism, governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
