Enable Ireland in Thurles, Co. Tipperary, is seeking an Adult Support Worker to join our Adult Services team. The role involves assisting with personal care, mobility, and enabling access to community services and our virtual day service.

This 1-year fixed-term contract offers 39 hours per week, a salary of €35,070–€42,440 pro rata, generous annual leave and training opportunities, with pension and wellbeing benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills and good recording practices.
• Experience working with adults with disabilities advantageous.
• Must be eligible to work in Ireland and hold a valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered support including personal care and mobility assistance.
• Support access to services in the community and through the virtual day service.
• Encourage development of training, employment and inclusion opportunities for service users.
