Job summary

Enable Ireland is seeking a motivated Support Worker to join Cork Adult Services across Day Services, Residential and Respite settings. You will deliver person‑centred care to children and adults with disabilities and contribute to a collaborative care team, ensuring safety and dignity in every interaction.

The post offers permanent or flexible hours, a pro rata salary scale (€35,070–€42,440) with annual leave and development opportunities, and a strong commitment to equality and diversity.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 Major Award (8 modules) in Social Care/Pre Nursing/Disability Care Skills.
• Year 1 of a relevant degree programme in Health and Social Care.
• Full Clean Manual Driving Licence and willingness to drive company vehicles.
• Be eligible to work in the state.

Responsibilities

• Provide person centred services to children and adults with disabilities.
• Work as part of a dedicated team to support service users.
• Assist with daily living tasks and personal care.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate with care team.
