Job summary

Canada Life Reinsurance (CL Re) in Dublin is seeking an actuary for the Actuarial Reporting - Transaction Reporting team. You will deliver quarterly liabilities, earnings and capital reporting, and work with Finance, Operations and Business Development to implement new transactions.

The role requires completing actuarial examinations with at least three years of relevant life experience, strong MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills, and the ability to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Completed actuarial examinations with at least three years relevant life (re)experience.
• Experience in financial reporting, cash flow modelling or data management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint; actuarial modelling experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce financial and capital reporting deliverables for a large portfolio of transactions.
• Deliver quarterly liabilities, earnings and capital reporting outputs.
• Prepare the annual business plan and Financial Condition Testing (FCT).
• Collaborate with Dublin-based colleagues across functions to implement new transactions.
• Analyse performance to explain liability movements and insights to stakeholders.
• Document results clearly and support improvements to reporting models and controls.
