PartnerRe Ltd. in Dublin seeks a highly motivated Technical Accounting Analyst to join the Life & Health Operations and Administration team.

Based in Dublin, you will report to the Technical Accounting Team Lead - Life & Health, EMELA, combining technical accounting with data analysis to ensure data accuracy and integrity. You will own the end-to-end data lifecycle supporting technical accounting activities—from data ingestion, validation, transformation and reconciliation through to technical

Qualifications

2–5 years in data analytics or technical accounting in Insurance/Reinsurance (L&H a plus).
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, data analytics or related field.
Strong proficiency with R, Power BI and SQL; advanced Excel skills.
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsabilités

Ensure data quality by validating data is complete, accurate, consistent and compliant with treaty requirements.
Extracting and loading data into our tools; escalate and resolve data issues with cedants.
Perform detailed analysis of cedant data and reconcile against treaty conditions and SOAs.
Execute technical accounting bookings for reinsurance transactions.
Support quarterly closing activities and ensure ICFR compliance.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data is available, accurate and fit for purpose.
Monitor client accounts and produce summary reports highlighting trends, exceptions and issues.
Participate in projects or other ad hoc tasks as required.
