Job summary

PartnerRe is seeking an Actuarial Intern in Non-Life Economic Valuation to support Solvency II and IFRS17 processes and contribute to model development and dashboarding. The role involves working with Excel, Power BI and Python to assist with technical provisions, SCR, IFRS17 liabilities and P&L statements.

The internship offers exposure to quarterly reporting, regulatory interactions and audits within a globally oriented reinsurer environment.

Responsibilities

• supporting the Solvency II and IFRS17 quarterly process.
• calculation of the Solvency II Technical Provisions and Non-Life Underwriting Risk SCR.
• calculation of IFRS17 Liabilities and Profit & Loss Statement.
• quarterly reporting to relevant committees and Group.
• annual opinions on Solvency II Technical Provisions, Underwriting, Retrocession/Reinsurance and the ORSA.
• internal and external audit activities.
• maintenance of documentation of key processes, procedures and results.
• development and maintenance of the models, analysis files and dashboards, using programs such as Excel, Power BI and Python.
• responding to requests from the regulator.
