Job summary

PartnerRe Ltd. in Dublin is seeking an actuarial student to join the Longevity Pricing Team. You will support modelling and pricing of longevity deals and help maintain and improve pricing methods and tools.

This role offers autonomy within a dynamic, culturally diverse international environment, with hybrid work arrangements and opportunities to develop actuarial skills using MS Excel and R.

Qualifications

• We are looking for a technically strong actuarial student who is a quick learner.
• A strong written and verbal communicator who works effectively in a dynamic and culturally diverse international environment.
• Someone who enjoys autonomy and is also an effective team player.
• Experience with MS Excel and/or R is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Providing actuarial and technical support to the pricing team covering modelling and pricing of longevity deals.
• Development, maintenance and improvements to our current modelling and pricing methodologies and tools.
• Ad hoc projects to find new modelling insights.
• Research and development of our benchmark pricing bases.
• Producing technical documentation of work carried out.
