Job summary

PartnerRe in Dublin is seeking a technically strong actuarial student to join the Longevity Pricing Team at our Dublin office. You will be involved in providing actuarial and technical support to modelling and pricing initiatives.

You will contribute to development and maintenance of pricing methodologies, work on ad hoc projects for modelling insights, and prepare technical documentation in a fast-paced, international environment.

Qualifications

• Actuarial student with a quick learning ability.
• Strong written and verbal communication in a dynamic international setting.
• Enjoys autonomy and is a good team player.
• Experience with MS Excel and/or R is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Providing actuarial and technical support to the pricing team covering modelling and pricing of longevity deals.
• Development, maintenance and improvements to our current modelling and pricing methodologies and tools.
• Ad hoc projects to find new modelling insights.
• Research and development of our benchmark pricing bases.
• Producing technical documentation of work carried out.
