Job summary

PGIM Ireland is seeking an Actuarial Associate in Pricing & Product Development to support the pricing execution of Longevity Reinsurance deals. The role involves assumptions setting, pricing Longevity Risk Transfer transactions, and collaborating with stakeholders across Ireland, the US, and the broader team.

The candidate will analyze pension plan data, generate actuarial projections, and determine fee ranges for reinsured longevity risk, while supporting the flow of sub-£300M transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or other quantitative field.
• Progress towards Associate of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries designation (IFoA).
• Strong Excel skills with willingness to learn SQL and Python.

Responsibilities

• Support pricing execution for Longevity Reinsurance (PRT) deals.
• Set assumptions and price Longevity Risk Transfer transactions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business and with US-based colleagues.
• Analyze pension plan experience data to determine mortality and marital assumptions.
• Prepare models and fee ranges for reinsurance transactions.
