The Role

• Prepare accounts to trial balance for a diverse portfolio of clients across various sectors
• Perform general bookkeeping duties and maintain accurate financial records
• Support senior accountants and partners on compliance and reporting matters
• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail across all financial documentation
• Liaise professionally with clients, responding to queries both verbally and in writing
• Assist with ad hoc tasks to support smooth team operations

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in an accountancy practice
• Strong experience preparing accounts to trial balance
• High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Comfortable working as part of a collaborative team in a support-focused role
• Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks is advantageous
