Responsibilities include:

• Own collections for an assigned B2B customer portfolio. Day to day that means working aging reports, contacting customers by phone and email to secure payment on open invoices, and resolving billing queries and disputes with internal Sales and Billing teams.
• The role also covers cash application, account reconciliation, weekly AR aging reporting and input into cash forecasting. After the sales rep closes the deal, this person becomes the main contact for that customer.
• The environment is high volume and fast moving, process documentation is still being built, and the team is automating manual AR work - these contractors carry manual collections through that transition. Key metrics are DSO and SLA on ticket resolution.

Qualifications:

• Has independently owned a large B2B collections portfolio and can quantify it on the spot: number of accounts and portfolio value.
• SaaS or usage-based billing background. Professional services, manufacturing and pharma profiles have consistently not worked for this team.
• Hands-on with a comparable ERP – NetSuite, Zuora, Oracle, SAP or Stripe. Like-for-like matters because there is limited ramp-up support.
• Has resolved billing disputes cross-functionally, with a concrete example covering root cause and outcome.
• Regular use of pivot tables and lookups in Excel or Google Sheets.
