Job summary

Russell Tobin seeks a Billing Support Specialist (Invoice to Cash) in Dublin. Hybrid role (2 days on site) on a 6-month contract with potential extension. You will handle high-volume billing queries, drive escalations across Billing, RevOps and Tax, and collaborate with customers to secure remittances and timely resolutions.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in AR/billing, SaaS billing experience, and solid Excel skills to support reconciliation and reporting tasks.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of hands-on, customer-facing experience in accounts receivable, billing operations, order to cash, finance operations or high-volume customer operations.
• SaaS enterprise billing experience and understanding of the invoice-to-cash lifecycle.
• Intermediate Excel or Google Sheets skills: lookups, pivots and basic reconciliation logic.

Responsibilities

• Be a front line for high-volume customer billing and Invoice to Cash questions, and resolve each one within team SLAs as the named owner.
• Own internal escalations from Sales and other go-to-market teams, getting answers from Billing, Sales Ops, RevOps, Tax and Support.
• Work directly with customers: obtain missing remittances, clarify details, and send customer-ready responses until the issue is closed.
• Take on payment research, unapplied cash investigations and other admin work from Collections and Cash Application.
• Reconcile customer accounts across our payment processor, billing systems and the general ledger when payments, credits or balances do not match what the customer expects.
• Spot repeated process or system problems and report them so they can be fixed.
• Escalate system configuration and engineering fixes, and track them to resolution.
