Job summary

Job description

Our Client, an Aviation Leasing company based in Shannon, is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Analyst to join their Finance Operations team on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract.

The role will work closely with an established Finance Team and manage a portfolio of international airline customers, with responsibility for invoicing, collections, account reconciliations and customer account management.

The role will ideally suit someone with similar Accounts Receivable/Credit Control experience who is looking to work within the Aviation Industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day customer account obligations across invoicing, collections and payment allocation.


• Identify and manage arrears, communicating with customers and proposing solutions where required.


• Support month-end activities including journal entries, reconciliations, reporting and review.


• Take ownership of process improvement initiatives across Finance Operations.


• Provide support to deal teams and cross-functional stakeholders across elfc.


• Support internal and external audit requirements.


• Provide wider support across Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Finance activities as required.


• Contribute to a collaborative and improvement-focused Finance Operations team.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control or a comparable finance role.


• Practical experience across customer account management, collections, payment allocation and reconciliations.


• Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency across Microsoft Office.


• Experience using ERP or financial management systems.


• Experience within aviation leasing or international financial services is desirable.


• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or a comparable ERP system is advantageous.


• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.


• Proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a global team.
