Panda Ireland is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead the AP function, ensuring accurate, timely supplier transactions and strong financial controls. You will provide clear leadership to the team and collaborate with stakeholders to optimise processes and system usage.

In this role you will drive process improvements, coach the team, manage performance, and deliver on deadlines in a fast-paced environment while upholding Panda’s values and commitment to accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Four+ years of experience in Accounts Payable.
• Experience supervising an AP team.
• Strong leadership and performance management.
• Ability to manage change and redesign processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Independent and takes initiative.
• Proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Accounts Payable team with clear responsibilities and performance expectations.
• Provide ongoing coaching, training and development to ensure the team has the knowledge to perform effectively.
• Proactively manage team performance and address areas for improvement.
• Oversee day-to-day AP processes, ensuring transactions are accurate and meet deadlines.
• Ensure full and effective use of the finance system across the function.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure processes, controls and procedures are followed.
• Manage supplier and internal stakeholder queries, resolving issues promptly.
• Lead and support AP projects and process-improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, strengthen controls and simplify processes.
• Maintain accurate workflows and process documentation; review regularly.
• Maintain high standards of compliance with procedures.
